- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon minced dried onion
- 1 tablespoon dried green pepper flakes
- 1 teaspoon instant chicken bouillon granules
- 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme, crushed
- 1 (23 oz.) can sweet potatoes, cut up
- 2 1/2 cups cubed, fully cooked ham (can be bought at the deli)
- 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 recipe Biscuits (your own or from a package)
- 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
Preheat oven to 400 degrees (F).
Meanwhile, in saucepan mix first five ingredients, 1/4 teaspoon salt, and 1/8 teaspoon pepper. Stir in potatoes, ham, tomatoes, and worcestershire. Bring to boiling.
Mix biscuits and mustard. On a floured surface pat dough to 5-inch circle; cut into 6 wedges.
Turn hot ham mixture into 2-quart casserole. Quickly
top with biscuit wedges.
Bake 18 - 20 minutes.
